Why My XCMG XE135D Hydraulic Excavator has some Abnormal Noise from the Engine? What's the Problem？
A customer called us just now, his XCMG XE135D excavator has a problem with many adnormal noise, need our help, my technological engineer and I went to him.
Equipment: XCMG XE135D Excavator
Engine Model: Cummins QSF3.8
The technological engineer connect the engine to his computer, there is no current fault, no abnormal sound by ignition test with the machine fired, all engine data are good, but after 40 minutes test later, the engine has knocking down sound. My technological engineer connect the computer again to test the broken cylinder, and found that there is no abnormal sound after brokening off the 2 and 4 cylinders, then he check the rocker arms and push rods, both are normal and good. It is suspected that the fuel injector is the faulty. He replaced the fuel injectors for the 2nd and 4th cylinders. Then test the machine again, it works normally well, the fault is eliminated.
